These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AI Automapping ("Service", "Product"), operated by Vedanta Software ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), accessible at ai.vedantasoftware.com. By registering for, accessing, or using the Service, you ("User", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- "Credit" means a prepaid unit of usage purchased by the User to access the Service.
- "Mapping" means the AI-based processing/mapping of a single page submitted by the User through the Service.
- "Account" means the User's registered account on vedantasoftware.com or ai.vedantasoftware.com.
- "Content" means any document, page, file, or data submitted by the User for mapping.
2. Service Description
AI Automapping is an AI-powered mapping tool that processes and maps user-submitted pages using automated (AI-based) technology. The Service is offered on a prepaid, credit-based model, as described in Section 3 below.
3. Credit System and Pricing
3.1 Prepaid Model
AI Automapping operates strictly on a prepaid credit basis. Users must purchase Credits in advance before using the Service. No usage is permitted on a postpaid, invoice-later, or credit-line basis unless separately agreed in writing by the Company.
3.2 Credit Consumption
One (1) Credit = One (1) page mapping. One Credit is deducted automatically from the User's Account balance each time one page is successfully submitted for mapping through the Service. If a mapping request fails due to a fault on the Company's end (e.g., system/server error preventing output generation), the Credit for that specific failed request will be reversed to the User's Account. Failures caused by incorrect, corrupted, unsupported, or invalid User-submitted files are not eligible for reversal.
3.3 Credit Validity
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, purchased Credits are valid for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase. Credits not consumed within this validity period will automatically lapse and expire, and the User will not be entitled to any refund, extension, or compensation for expired Credits. The Company may, at its sole discretion, extend the validity of Credits for a User on a case-by-case basis, without any obligation to do so for other Users.
3.4 Pricing Changes
The Company reserves the right to revise Credit pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect Credits already purchased prior to the change. However, credit consumption rates, mapping limits, or other usage parameters may be updated by the Company at its discretion, and such changes will apply to all Users going forward.
4. Payments and Non-Refund Policy
4.1 Payment
All Credit purchases must be paid in full, in advance, through the payment methods made available on the Service. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST) unless stated otherwise, which will be added at checkout as applicable.
4.2 Non-Refundable
All Credit purchases are strictly non-refundable. Once purchased, Credits:
- Cannot be exchanged for cash or any monetary refund, in part or in full;
- Cannot be reversed once payment is successfully processed, except where required by applicable law;
- Are non-transferable to any other Account or third party, unless expressly permitted by the Company in writing.
4.3 No Refund on Unused Credits
Unused Credits remaining in a User's Account at the time of Account closure, termination, or non-renewal are not refundable under any circumstances, except where such refusal would violate applicable consumer protection law.
4.4 Failed/Disputed Transactions
In case of a failed transaction where payment was deducted but Credits were not added to the Account, the User must report the issue to the Company within 7 days of the transaction, along with valid payment proof, for investigation and resolution.
5. Account Registration
- Users must provide accurate and complete information while creating an Account.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity that occurs under their Account.
- The Company is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of a User's Account due to the User's failure to safeguard credentials.
6. API Keys and Security
Where the Service provides API access, the Company will issue one or more API keys to the User for authentication and usage tracking.
The User is solely responsible for keeping their API key(s) confidential and secure at all times, including restricting access to authorized personnel and systems only.
The User must not share, publish, hardcode in public repositories, or otherwise expose their API key(s) to any unauthorized third party.
The Company shall bear no responsibility or liability for any leakage, theft, misuse, or unauthorized use of a User's API key(s), or for any Credit consumption, data exposure, or loss arising therefrom, where such leakage occurs due to the User's failure to safeguard the key. All Credits consumed through a leaked or compromised API key are non-refundable and non-reversible.
If a User suspects their API key has been compromised, they must immediately delete the compromised key. User can generate a new key. But company is not responsible for any loss or misuse of the compromised key prior to its deletion.
7. Acceptable Use
The User agrees not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose;
Upload Content that infringes third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or exploit the Service or its underlying AI models without written permission;
Use automated scripts/bots to abuse, overload, or manipulate the Credit system;
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the Credit-based usage limits.
Violation of this Section may result in suspension or termination of the Account without refund of any remaining Credits.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its underlying AI models, software, design, and branding, is the exclusive property of Vedanta Software and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Users retain ownership of Content they submit. By submitting Content, the User grants the Company a limited, non-exclusive license to process that Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
9. Service Availability and Accuracy
The Company will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and to ensure mapping accuracy but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or 100% mapping accuracy, since outputs are AI-generated.
Users are advised to review AI-generated mapping outputs before relying on them for critical or production use.
The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service (with reasonable notice where feasible) without liability for such changes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity, arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
The Company's total liability, if any, arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for Credits in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
The Company may suspend or terminate a User's Account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment, without any obligation to refund unused Credits.
Users may close their Account at any time by contacting support; any unused Credits at closure are forfeited per Section 4.3.
12. Changes to These Terms
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the website or registered email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India.
